Teamwork Collaboration: A failure when a workplace is full of morons

I am back from long – week hiatus here in the blogesphere. Beside I am still on the process of adjusting to my new gig. The best part is at least I am FAR away from the people in a workplace with full of whiners, a crying boy (where is my mommy!), a pretentious quack wanna be Dr. Phil  who’s job is preserved for the reasons of insanity; an uneducated coordinator with her up to no good  henchmen.  Are you kidding me? I am free from you guys! Thanks a lot!

No, I could not be in that place. One frigging year is too much. I should have gone long time ago. They don’t deserve me and I don’t deserved them. YOU ARE ALL UNPROFESSIONALS! Yes, you hear me.

I should not even publish this “Teamwork;+collaboration, +sharing= avalanche of what? which become the MOST READ for weeks and weeks. Guys, the avalanche I was hoping for in that workplace did not happen because the place is just full of morons, including me of course. hehehe.

My friends sorry to inform you that “Teamwork  and collaboration” is a failure. The problem is that there are CRABS among us and if you have no protection against idiotic people (I know who are idiots because I am an idiot) then the idea of collaboration is doomed to fail. Everyone is trying to save their own assess and most of all pretentious. I know because I became them. I played with their game. I was able to penetrate their minds and their souls.

I am proud to be in that place though but the people were just too much ( a supervisor who is as moron, an ego maniac “guy” who taught he is the greatest because he published something).

The most amazing part is that this place wanted to inflect fear in my heart and in my being which I resisted. Are they GONE MAD? ME, AFRAID? A FILIPINO-AMERICAN afraid of bitchy MORONIC stupid people? NO frigging WAY!

At the end I still got what I wanted – the proof… how mean people are. Because of their moronic, power hungry attitudes they gave me what I wanted. Yes,  I RESIGNED and that day I ended up being escorted out in that building and told by the ARROGANT  executive officer that  if I go back I would be accused of trespassing.

HELLO, this story did not happen in the PHILIPPINES or in the third world country.  It happened here in the UNITED STATED OF AMERICA!

It is understandable though because THAT IS WHAT  YOU GET IF YOU HAVE NO UNION!

Is there any advise out there how to get back to these people or this type of organization? Thank you for your advise if you have any.

Kudos to those who made in the workforce

The other day two friends of mine who visited me  all the times, made their way to the workforce! They were hired just in time when I was beginning to doubt that hope is just an illusion. Wrong! It is not!

I don’t have to see 100 million job seekers to enter into the workforce. All I need is one or two and you two bros are my heros!

Once again, kudos to you my friends  who were hired in this most challenging times – amidst cuts and lay offs. You were there in the right place and in the right time. The job was really for you.

Your experience have reminded me  that opportunity comes in a most amazing way. Luck or not, I am glad you shared your success with me.

Yes, I am so happy for you and glad to share with everybody your success stories.  Your story is the testament that job opportunities are still there –looming and waiting for the right moment.

You got it! Yes, you did!

This blog entry is dedicated just for you. Say hi, once in a while will you?

Thank you!

The eLearning place to be: lets get this party started

I’ve been following this blog for a while now and it is time to acknowledge its relevance to what lies ahead.
I like what I read in that blog. There are concepts that are really important to know  and helpful because most are focused on users’ LMS  experiences/cases/scenarios. Most of all, the blogger really knows what he is talking about – a great resource when implementing LMS – consider it a guide.

Of course, LMS does not exist just a concept – it needs a platform. I should have chosen ATutor the Blackboard’s “best friend” but Moodle it is – plain and simple without further explanation.

Trouble over Obama’s picture

You need permission to use the image. Similar or look alike?

You need permission to use the image. Similar or look alike?

I guess, it is just natural that if someone is making money and gets all the credits out of something owned by Associated Press (AP) –  will not enjoy the glory and fame  forever.

The owner wants justice! The owner wants recognition and most of all compensation!

So as the news continues,

NEW YORK – On buttons, posters and Web sites, the image was everywhere during last year’s presidential campaign: A pensive Barack Obama looking upward, as if to the future, splashed in a Warholesque red, white and blue and underlined with the caption HOPE.

Obama's poster everywhere

Designed by Shepard Fairey, a Los-Angeles based street artist, the image has led to sales of hundreds of thousands of posters and stickers, has become so much in demand that copies signed by Fairey have been purchased for thousands of dollars on eBay.

The image, Fairey has acknowledged, is based on an Associated Press photograph, taken in April 2006 by Manny Garcia on assignment for the AP at the National Press Club in Washington.

The AP says it owns the copyright, and wants credit and compensation. Fairey disagrees. Read the rest of the entry.

The web 101 beginner? Intermediate? or Advanced?

December is the time for Social Networking  here at I am hoping to connect to everyone who has the time to sit, relax, party, and blog.  The holiday season is in the air and the constant reminder of “Give love on Xmas day!”  should do the trick. Beside this time of year is where most of the working force can get their needed long holiday breaks – another family time of the year.
